Finance App ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.

1. Information We Collect

Finance App operates entirely on your device. We do not connect to your bank accounts, do not access your financial institutions, and do not transmit your financial data to any server.

The only data we collect or store is:

• On-device transaction data — expenses, incomes, budgets, and goals you enter or import via screenshots. This data stays on your iPhone and is never sent to our servers.
• iCloud Sync (optional) — if you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. We have no access to this data.
• Analytics & Crash Reports — anonymized, non-personal usage data and crash reports via Apple's standard frameworks. This data cannot be linked to you and is used solely to improve the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

All data processing happens locally on your device:

• Screenshot Recognition — the AI model processes screenshots entirely on-device using the Neural Engine. No image data leaves your phone.
• Budget & Goal Tracking — your financial data is used only to display charts, progress bars, and predictions within the app.
• Currency Conversion — exchange rates are fetched from public APIs. No personal data is included in these requests.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in the app's sandboxed container on your device, protected by iOS security features including hardware encryption. If you enable Face ID or Touch ID, the app is locked behind biometric authentication.

We do not have accounts, passwords, or servers that store your financial information. There is no "sign-up" process because there is no database to sign up for.

4. Third-Party Services

Finance App uses the following third-party services, none of which receive your personal financial data:

• Apple CloudKit — for optional iCloud sync. Data is encrypted end-to-end and Apple cannot read it.
• Open Exchange Rates API — for live currency conversion. Only currency codes are sent, no personal data.
• Google Fonts — for typography on the website. No data is shared from the app itself.

5. Your Rights

Since we do not store your personal data on any server, there is nothing to access, modify, or delete from our end. All your data is on your device and under your full control. You can:

• Delete individual transactions or all data via the app settings.
• Disable iCloud sync at any time — your data remains on your device.
• Export your data as CSV or JSON at any time.
• Delete the app — this removes all data from your device.

6. Children's Privacy

Finance App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
